APR Group has published the thematic presentation "Results of a Social Survey on Public Attitudes towards Law Enforcement Authorities," prepared on the basis of the findings of the Comparative Public Opinion Study.
The presentation examines public trust in and perceptions of Armenia's law enforcement institutions, including the Police, courts, the Prosecutor's Office, investigative authorities and the law enforcement system as a whole.
The presentation includes findings on:
- public trust in law enforcement institutions;
- public assessments of police performance;
- perceptions of recent changes in the activities of law enforcement agencies;
- citizens' experience of interaction with different institutions;
- public evaluations of the performance of the law enforcement system.
The findings are based on a nationwide quantitative survey conducted across all regions of Armenia, including Yerevan. A total of 1,200 face-to-face interviews were carried out using the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) methodology. The survey employed a stratified cluster random sample with a 95% confidence level and a ±2.81% margin of error.
