The nomination of trad itional presidential candidates has already been launched. It is predictable that Artashes Geghamyan and Stepan Demirchyan, Armenian Marxist and Grisha Virabyan will join Vazgen Manukyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Arshak Sadoyan, Aram Karapetyan. When you tell those politicians that they don't adequately appreciate the reality, they get angry and accuse you of commiting the authoritis' order. Just in the same way when I was telling several politicians that they didn't have 5% of rating, they were almost laughing: «What do you say, we'll get 5 %».
The point is that our predictions are based on the APR Group polls. The polls results can't be considered as higly correct but our readers might notice that the general intentions of public opinion are corresponding to the reality. For instance, PAP had ham much more rating several months before than RPA but the latter gained the position of leading party in April and May.
So, APR group has made a phone poll among 663 Yerevan citizens. The main purpose, as you remember, is to concretize the initial rating of parties. But the sociologists have parallely given the following question / we haven't published the answers before to avoid of manipulations/: if the parliamentary elections are held on this Sunday /May 6/ for whom will you vote? The results were the following: Robert Kocharyan-16,29%, Serge Sargsyan 3,92%, Gagik Tsarukyan 3,92%, Artashes Geghamyan- 1,96%, Stepan Demirchyan- 1,66%, Arthur Baghdasrayan- 1,66%, Vazgen manukyan-1,06%, Vardan Oskanyan- 1,06%. Raffi Hovanisyan, Tigran Karapetyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Aram Karapetyan, Vahan Hovanisyan, Tigran Torosyan, Manuk Gasparyan, Arshak Sadoyan have gathered less than 1%. None of 663 citizens have given Paruyr hayrikian's name. The other answers are «there is no leader» /7,69%/, «against everybody» /1,36%/, «can't answer» /43,59%/, «secret» /11,92%/.
I am not so enthusiastic about this figures but it is the truth.
