Starting from April 1 2012 APR Group jointly with “168 hours” newspaper has launched project targeted at the formation of permanently functioning “electoral journalistic group: The creation of such group will improve the transparency of elections through comprehensive and balanced media coverage of the electoral process.

New study for USAID/ HS-STAR project

Regular Session at ACNIS Youth School

On June 24, 2011 APR Group and HS-STAR signed contract on conducting a rapid feedback study to assess implementation of the quality of care processes introduced with support from USAID PHCR and NOVA/NOVA2.

Labour Market and Social Dialogue in the Republic of Armenia



Following the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Armenia, like many other post-Soviet republics, had to embark upon the difficult path of the construction of a new state system with the transition from one political regime to another having an impact upon the socioeconomic system. Moreover, the system of labour relationships was also subjected to changes which were based upon the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia.

APR_Group_168_4On December 12-15, 2010, the APR Group center conducted a sociological research to find out how the people of Yerevan relate to the first wave of dismissing officials, particularly the resignation of the former mayor and justice minister.

OSCE research on labor rights presented in Yerevan


R.Sargsyan_OSCE_YerevanAn OSCE research on youth awareness about labor rights and role of professional unions was presented in Yerevan on June 7.

“The research showed that, generally, young people do not seal contracts with employers, that is why their rights can’t be guaranteed,” Deputy Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Carel Hofstra stated.

“The aim of the research is to assist civil and democratic institutes of Armenia, with professional unions as an important part of the civil society,” he added.
