The cooperation between European Endowment for Democracy (EED) and Advanced Public Research Group (APR Group), which resulted in an integral research on Constitutional changes in Armenia, has entered a new stage: EED expressed its consent to fund a follow-up study of the mentioned research.

APR Group has launched a research in cooperation with OXFAM in Armenia to identify the state and gaps of nutrition of the population of Armenia as well as efficiency of existing national policies and their implementation mechanisms.

The passion around Constitutional reforms rose to another level. The current conflict has several levels: contextual (relevance of change), political (change of the state system as a mechanism for power reproduction), but some fundamental aspects of the issue seem to be out of the public attention.

Armenia's integration perspectives are constantly in the focus of public attention. Media, political parties, and government bodies, and civil society organizations have referred to them for many times. There have been many different records, different opinions, but to the question what the society in general (the entire population of Armenia) thinks about it “Advanced Public Research Group» (APR Group) NGO tried to find the answer through a public opinion survey among 1300 residents of Armenia (in regions and Yerevan, 2014 August).

September 29, Yerevan. Within the framework of “Increasing the Role of the Civil Society in Political Processes of Armenia” project “Advanced Public Research” Group (APR Group) NGO organised the presentation of research findings and recommendations on Constitutional reforms.
The main goal of the project is to reveal gaps and shortcomings of the current RA Constitution as well as population’s expectations from the new Constitution. During the research 36 in-depth interviews were conducted involving all official, academic and public actors of the process of Constitutional reforms.
