“Advanced Public Research” Group (APR Group) NGO has conducted qualitative and quantitative research on RA Constitutional Reforms.
The main goal of the project is to reveal gaps and shortcomings of the current RA Constitution as well as population’s expectations from new Constitution which will be submitted to the Committee on RA Constitutional Reforms accompanied with series of public discussions and campaigns for their further consideration and incorporation in the Concept of Constitutional Reforms of RA.
At the 1st stage of the research 36 in-depth interviews were conducted based which involved all official, academic and public actors of the process of Constitutional reforms.
The 2nd phase of the research included quantitative survey throughout Armenia among 1300 respondents which allowed to identify expectations of the RA population from the coming reforms and the role of the Constitution in their everyday life.
Based on the research results the project experts developed recommendations on the Concept of Constitutional Reforms of RA.
The research results and recommendations will be put to public discussion during its upcoming presentation which will take place on September 29 2014 at 11:00 at “Erebuni” hall of Erebuni Plaza Business Center.
